General Surgery Department
İzmir Education and Research Hospital Department of General Surgery is founded in the 1981. Our aims is to find answers and solutions for our patients and in a setting that is comfortable. We believe that even though their condition is simple and may not be uncommon, it is important.
In our clinic,patients enter polyclinic and medical history information into the online system before they hospitalized.Our clinic is 86 beds. One Prof., 7Assoc. Prof. 6 specialist, 8 assistants and 24 nurses serving in the clinic.
Our clinic has an academic section with organ transplantation center, burn treatment center and endoscopy departments.
Our clinic unities all specialists in gastrointestinal system(oesophagaus,stomach,small and large bowel ), endocrine system(thyroid,parathyroid),breast,hernia, bariatric operations and critical care , research and education within one fully integrated model care to improve diagnosis,medical management and quality of life for our patients.
